Raymond James was lead manager on the Bought Deal Offering of Subscription Receipts and Extendible Convertible Unsecured Debentures of Baylin Technologies Inc., raising $40.25 million, which includes the exercise of the full over-allotment option. Baylin is a diversified leading global wireless technology management company, that focuses on research, design, development, manufacturing and sales of passive and active radio frequency products and services. Baylin aspires to meet customers' needs and anticipate the direction of the market.
Raymond James was lead manager on the Marketed Subscription Receipts Offering of Conifex Timber Inc., raising approximately $64.8 million, which includes the partial exercise of the over-allotment option. Conifex and its subsidiaries' primary business currently includes timber harvesting, reforestation, forest management, sawmilling logs into lumber and wood chips, and value added lumber finishing and distribution. The company has expanded its operations to include bioenergy production following the commencement of commercial operations of its power generation facility at Mackenzie, British Columbia.
Raymond James was a passive book-runner on the Cross-Border Follow-On Offering of Zymeworks Inc., raising approximately US$97.8 million, which includes the exercise of the full over-allotment option. Zymeworks Inc. is a publicly held biotechnology company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, that develops protein therapeutics for the treatment of cancer as well as for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
Raymond James was co-lead manager on the Initial Public Offering of common shares, raising approximately $115 million. STEP is an oilfield service company that provides specialized and fully integrated coiled tubing and fracturing solutions. STEP's corporate headquarters is located in Calgary, Alberta and STEP has coiled tubing and fracturing operations spanning across Western Canada, along with coiled tubing operations in Texas.
Raymond James was lead manager on the upsized bought deal common shares offering of Trinidad Drilling Ltd, raising approximately $149.5 million, which includes the exercise of the full over-allotment option. Trinidad is a corporation focused on sustainable growth that trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol TDG. Trinidad's divisions currently operate in the drilling sector of the oil and natural gas industry, with operations in Canada, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, through joint venture arrangements, Trinidad operates drilling rigs in Saudi Arabia and Mexico.
