With his original roots in China, Kevin brings unique insights into the Chinese economy and emerging market investment strategies. His duties vary between preparing for and participating in client meetings, technology oversight, and account documentation. Kevin’s passion for the financial services industry, his can-do attitude, and his strong desire to help others bring a welcome energy to the team.

Kevin graduated from Trinity Western University (TWU), specializing in finance with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. While at TWU, he served as the CEO of the TWU Student Managed Investment Fund, where he and his team were responsible for managing a portion of university and donor funds. Kevin has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook course at the Canadian Securities Institute. Kevin is proficient in both English and Mandarin.

Kevin was born in China and spent his first 14 years living in Shanghai. He travelled to Vancouver, B.C., Canada as a student to further his formal education. Kevin has since fallen in love with beautiful British Columbia and now makes it his permanent home. As a believer in lifelong learning, Kevin has a growth mindset with an instinctive curiosity about the world and people. During his free time, Kevin enjoys cooking, hiking, skiing, and playing badminton with friends.
