Trevor has been a Financial Advisor since 1997. He is a licensed Portfolio Manager and holds both the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations, signifying training in both advanced portfolio management techniques and holistic planning for affluent Canadian households.
Trevor studied Finance at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 1996. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2008, Trevor was a financial advisor with two other independent brokerage firms. In addition to 24 years of experience advising affluent Canadian families, Trevor is also licensed in over 10 US states and advises both American residents and Canadians who hold US retirement accounts from time spent working in the US. Trevor's areas of expertise include holistic financial planning, portfolio construction and management, tax efficient investing, alternative investments and cross border planning.
Trevor is married to his wife Jenn and they live in the south end of Ottawa with their 4 children, ages 16-22. Trevor’s passions away from managing affluent Canadians’ wealth include golf and coaching minor hockey.
