Mike embarked on his career in financial planning and investment advice in 1994. Over the years he has earned numerous awards and accolades for client service and operational excellence. In 2014, Mike attained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).
Having managed his own and other people’s money for over 30 years, Mike has observed long term patterns of success and failure that have taught him a number of painful lessons. He feels very strongly about wealth preservation and protecting his clients from learning those same investment lessons the hard way. He is always reading and continually learning to better serve his clients & lead his team.
Mike is active in his community, offering his expertise on various boards and participating in charity endeavours. He loves spending time with his wife, 3 grown up children and his new son-in-law. Mike is an avid golfer, road biker, hockey player, reader, and cook who enjoys entertaining family & friends. He loves discussing current events, especially over a glass of wine and a delicious meal – at home or at the cottage.
