Originally from Nova Scotia, Paul has been in the investment industry for over 30 years. He began his career as a fixed income trader at an investment firm, before transitioning into the role of financial advisor to personally assist individual investors. He came to Kingston in 1989 to become Branch Manager at a brokerage firm. Ten years later, in 1999, he opened the Raymond James office in Kingston. Fiercely proud to have never worked for a bank-owned investment firm, Paul firmly believes an independent investment firm provides advisors with the best opportunity to professionally service clients, without any pressure to utilize proprietary products. Paul and his wife Donna have five children and five grandchildren. He enjoys playing hockey, golf and skiing.
