Dee-Ann Mayburry, CFP®, CIM®, CIWM, FCSI Senior Wealth Advisor

Dee-Ann has been in the investment industry for over 25 years. She holds many industry designations, including the Financial Management Advisor (FMA), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designation, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). She also became a holder of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2019. Dee-Ann is licensed through IIROC and FINRA allowing her to deal with residents of Canada and the United States.

In 2010, Dee-Ann was appointed Vice President, Private Client Group, of Raymond James Ltd., and is the former Assistant Branch Manager of the Victoria and Nanaimo offices. In 2014, Raymond James presented Dee-Ann with the "Woman of Distinction" award which recognizes successful female advisors within the firm who support the professional growth of other advisors and associates, and who are actively involved in their communities. She sat on the Raymond James Women’s Advisory Council (U.S. based) for 2 years and on the Raymond James Canada Foundation Advisory Committee for 5 years. In 2017, the Raymond James Canada Foundation awarded Dee-Ann with the Community Leadership Award.

In 2011, Dee-Ann became a member of the University of Victoria Executive Mentor Program and enjoys the opportunity to work with UVIC students to share her passion for this industry as they explore which career path they will eventually take.

Dee-Ann works with clients to identify and address their investment goals to achieve their overall financial objectives. An important part of this process is sitting down and reviewing an existing plan or creating one with all of the client’s life goals taken into account. Education is a very important part of investing and Dee-Ann and her team spend a lot of time educating their clients.

Outside of work, Dee-Ann enjoys spending time with her partner Albert and her two kids, Jenna and Jake. As a family they enjoy skiing, hiking, travelling and participating in a variety of community events.

Financial professionals who hold the CIM® designation are eligible for registration as a Portfolio Manager in Canada. They have expertise in providing money management services to high-net-worth and institutional clients, and they understand the application of portfolio management in the context of Canadian markets and regulatory requirements
