Community Involvement
Giving back means giving of ourselves.
The idea of putting others first comes naturally to us, from our clients to our neighbours - it's the right thing to do. You'll find us giving back in countless ways, rolling up our sleeves and pitching in to support the organizations that help this community thrive. We invite you to learn more about the educational, civic, social and philanthropic endeavors we support with our time, energy and expertise. If you'd like to be involved, please feel free to contact us to learn more about upcoming events.

CHILDREN’S HEARING AND SPEECH CENTRE OF BC
Every year the team likes to put a big bright smile on the students’ faces by renovating the school’s on-site garden.
For 2025, the team had a few mini helpers assist with trimming and weeding.
GREATER VANCOUVER FOOD BANK
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB)!
The Greater Vancouver Food Bank was set up as a temporary relief to the hunger crisis in 1983 and has grown significantly in the four decades since then. Today the GVFB provides assistance to approximately 15,000 individuals monthly across Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and the North Shore. The GVFB provides food support to a network of 140+ Community Agencies. These organizations use GVFB food to fuel their food programs, including small community food banks, daily snack and meal programs for shelters and community housing, school nutrition programs, and more.
The Raymond James Cares team joined the GVFB Burnaby Warehouse team to support their operations department. Teams of three had various duties such as: assembling nutrition program packs, date and quality checking donations, building orders, and assisting with cleaning and maintenance.
It was Caitlin’s first year volunteering with GVFB and admires all the work that is done on the operational side. The organization itself has grown immensely, and we are proud that we had the opportunity to contribute!

CHILDREN’S HEARING AND SPEECH CENTRE OF BC
Children’s Hearing & Speech Centre of BC (CHSC) established in 1963, is a family-focused clinical and educational centre that provides listening and spoken language therapy to children with hearing loss, giving them the skills and confidence they need to achieve their fullest potential! It is the only listening and spoken language centre in all of Western Canada. Through their programs and services, they ensure that children who are deaf and hard of hearing receive the listening and spoken language intervention they need to live full and independent lives on par with typical hearing children.
Johannes is a proud CHSC alumni and believes that early intervention for children and families supporting those with hearing loss is paramount.
“Giving back to the communities in which we live and work is a core value at Raymond James. I am very proud of the Raymond James Canada Foundation who supports and partners with our associates and their clients in their charitable activities and in their strategic philanthropy planning through our Charitable Giving Program.”
says Lloyd Costley, Chairman of Raymond James Canada Foundation, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Risk Officer, Raymond James Ltd.
