July 2025: Clarity Amid Volatility
It’s no secret that we’re living in a time of economic and political uncertainty. With headlines filled with interest rate hikes, inflation concerns, global conflicts, and trade tensions, it's no wonder many feel uneasy, especially as the media speculates about potential actions from the U.S. President and how markets might respond. Something important to remember; we don’t need to predict the future to make smart investment decisions.
That’s why I take a tactical approach to investing. I don’t believe in market timing or trying to outguess the news cycle. Instead, I focus on staying grounded, making thoughtful adjustments, and keeping our eyes on your long-term goals. This strategy helps us balance risk and opportunity, stay flexible and responsive to real data (not drama), and focus on building sustainable, long-term value.
You might recall the sharp market correction in 2022, following the pandemic boom. At the time, many were predicting a deep recession. Rather than reacting to the panic, we made careful, measured decisions, reducing risk where appropriate, holding strong positions in high quality companies, and remaining patient. That discipline paid off. While others waited on the sidelines, we were well positioned to benefit from the rebound over the following two years.
Today, my focus remains the same. I continue to seek out companies that are fairly or undervalued, with strong business models and long-term growth potential, even if they’re not in the spotlight. I ensure your portfolio remains balanced and diversified. And I remain committed to aligning your investments with broader values like sustainability, innovation, and responsible corporate practices.
Tactical investing isn’t about reacting to every market move. It’s about knowing when to shift gears and when to stay the course. As always, I’m here to help you navigate uncertainty with calm, clarity, and care. Thank you for your continued trust and for allowing me to walk this journey with you.
If you have any questions or would like to review your portfolio, I’m just a call or message away.
