Brett graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Economics, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance. Upon graduation, Brett was hired to join a senior advisor at a bank owned brokerage firm. Brett worked there for 18 years as a Wealth Advisor before joining Raymond James in February 2017 as a Wealth Advisor.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Brett is one of only a few local advisors in the Saskatoon marketplace licensed to offer cross-border services and provide advice on any account type in both Canada and the United States. Brett has a history of advising his affluent clients on all facets of retirement income planning, estate planning, tax planning, and charitable giving strategies. Brett is also very experienced in working closely with his clients’ other professional advisors and providing them with the information they require in a timely fashion.

Brett has two very active elementary school aged boys, Oliver and Sam. When Brett isn’t in the office, he spends time with his family camping and fishing at Lake Diefenbaker, helping coach his boys’ various sports teams, playing squash and golfing.

The Chartered Investment Manager® (CIM®) Designation builds the skills and experience we need to serve a more sophisticated financial client or institution. Financial professionals who hold the CIM® designation are eligible for registration as a Portfolio Manager in Canada. They have expertise in providing money management services to high-net-worth and institutional clients, and they understand the application of portfolio management in the context of Canadian markets and regulatory requirements
