Susan Milburn
Susan Milburn, B.Comm., MBA Financial Advisor

Susan Milburn is a long-time resident of Saskatoon and a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, earning Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration degrees. She has been employed in the investment industry for many years, working with individuals to construct and manage their investment portfolios.

“I take a plain and simple approach to assisting clients build their portfolios, and manage their financial affairs. I want them to understand their investments; what are the risks and what are the potential returns? I want them to sleep at night, and that’s what we strive to accomplish when we recommend a portfolio structure”.”

Susan has served on many boards in the for-profit sector and the charitable sector. She has experience at the board table with provincial crown corporations, a university, a municipal multi-purpose facility and several not-for-profit organizations, including as a pension plan trustee. In addition, she served as a member of the Women’s Advisory Council to Raymond James in the U.S., and has taught courses on investing at both the community and the university level. Rounding out her community service, she volunteered as a mentor in leadership programs and industry development programs.

Susan has been included in Saskatchewan Business Magazine’s annual list of 10 Most Influential Women, received the Alumni Service Award from the U of S Alumni Association, and been named a Woman of Distinction by Raymond James.

A life-long learner, Susan enjoys taking courses to advance her professional and personal skill sets. She also enjoys spending time at her lake cabin with family, travels, and enjoys the outdoors.
