TWU’s Mentor Program pairs students with business professionals to help guide them and enables them to get the inside story on how to integrate business practices with their Christian commitment. Being led by someone who has walked the road before helps you know what to expect.
For the business community the personal and professional satisfaction; networking and recruitment opportunities; and a fresh perspective and additional experience. The result is an exchange of professional ideas, expertise and friendship.
Franco Papalia has a passion for helping others today, to produce profound change in the world tomorrow. He has been a part of the TWU Mentor Program for 13 years, and has been a mentor to 11 different students.
Meeting about once a month with a mentee, they discuss school, work and life goals. With his over 40 years in the financial service industry he brings experience and knowledge to his meetings and can help bring guidance when needed, or just a friend to talk too.
