After graduating from MacEwan University on the Dean's List with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, I worked at a local refinery as a Financial Analyst responsible for organizing their multi-billion dollar budget. I joined Raymond James and became a licensed financial advisor in 2025 after completing the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Course. What attracted me to the role was the opportunity to work directly with people to make a meaningful difference in their lives. I truly enjoy helping people manage their investments and guiding them towards a comfortable, well-earned retirement.
I work alongside my father Riley Klassen, who is also a Financial Advisor and the Branch Manager of the St. Albert office. We follow an old-school mentorship process, which means our desks are side by side, we attend all meetings together, and I am involving directly in every part of the business. We interchangeably serve the same clients, which allows us to provide a high level of client service. I look forward to carrying on the family business for many decades to come.
I have absorbed my father's lived experience as a financial advisor through the dotcom bubble and the 2008 financial crisis, which means that we build profitable portfolios that will withstand unexpected market shocks. We rely on time-proven advice and comprehensive retirement planning software to clarify your retirement goals and ensure your objectives are met.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and friends, practicing judo, and reading The Economist.
