Specializing in wealth and risk management, Dan works with clients to identify insurance risks and design investment portfolios that meet individual needs. Dan offers a comprehensive array of investment alternatives tailored to the needs of each individual investor. These alternatives include mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), stocks, and bonds. Whether you need to set some long-term goals, build an investment plan or evaluate your financial risks, Dan will put you – and your needs – first.


Dan is certified as a Qualified Associated Financial Planner (QAFP™) and holds insurance and securities licenses. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University. Dan’s 20+ years of experience in manufacturing prior to becoming a financial advisor gives him valuable insight into the challenges faced by business owners.


Dan takes pride in community involvement. He is a member of the Redemption Durham church where he leads periodic financial coaching sessions. He has run numerous small and large community sessions to assist people in building a behaviour-based approach to managing their money. Dan is also a member of Business Networking International (BNI).

Originally from Whitby, Ontario, Dan lives in Hampton, Ontario. He enjoys spending time with his wife, interior designer Jill Washington, and their three children – Nathan, Rachel and Joel. Dan also enjoys physical fitness, mountain biking, fishing, and camping.


In 2019, Dan joined forces with Tom Popielarczyk to leverage their highly complementary skill sets for the benefit of their present and future clients.
