Grant has extensive experience in the industry, and has been a financial advisor since 1999, and a portfolio manager since 2012. His previous experience includes will and estate planning, trust services, income tax, estate administration, and offshore planning.

He is a past president of the Kelowna Estate Planning Society and has served on the Kelowna General Hospital’s Planned Giving Committee. He has also been a board member with the Okanagan CFA Society and currently is a member of the University of British Columbia Okanagan Planned Giving Committee.

Grant received the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1998, the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1996, and passed his Branch Manager’s exams in 2009. Continuing education is an important part of Grant’s practice to ensure he has the latest information to meet his clients’ needs.

Grant has lived in Kelowna since 1981 with his wife Lauren and their three sons David, Tom, and Brandon. When away from the office, he enjoys golf, cooking, and travelling.

CFP professionals are the largest identifiable body of licensed financial planners in Canada. In life, it’s important to find a financial planner you trust to provide sound, unbiased advice and professional services. Being CFP^® certified means someone has voluntarily taken the extra steps needed to provide the highest possible standard of financial planning to those they serve. To become a Certified Financial Planner™ one must pass the comprehensive CFP^® Certification Exam, have a minimum of three years’ professional experience in financial planning process and must be approved by the CFP Board, which involves an extensive background check – including an ethics, character and criminal check. To maintain certification, CFP^® license holders must complete 25 hours of continuing education accepted by the CFP Board every year.
