Christina Roderus has been with the Raymond James office in Williams Lake for 7 years. She has been in the industry for over 16 years and has continuously been gaining courses and expanding her knowledge. Christina provides value by building lifelong relationships with her clients and staying committed to them. She is a firm believer that there is so much more to investing then just money and products, there are emotions.
Her approach to helping her clients plan for the future is from a life perspective rather than on financial instruments alone. She likes to get to know her clients on a personal level and be there to help them through various stages of their lives. She will narrow down their needs, wants, wishes and goals and from there she makes suggestions on how to use investment management and financial planning to help her clients get there. She has a passion for working with women, particularly divorced or widowed women to help be there to guide them through a difficult transition period.
She made the move to Raymond James because she wants to work for her clients and have their plans be her sole commitment. Raymond James has provided that opportunity by being an independent and unbiased investment fi rm. Every client situation is unique and Christina sees that and works with people to help them achieve their goals, the way they want to be reached. She’s always wanted a career where she can truly help people and she found that as an advisor she can be there to guide her clients and help them achieve success.
After growing up and living in Edmonton, AB, Christina moved to Williams Lake with her husband and pets to have a lifestyle that accommodated their dreams. They have since grown their family to include a lovely little girl and many animals on their hobby farm. They have built a life here and she loves the various outdoor activities that WL has to offer. She believes in giving back to the community and is actively involved in various charitable organizations. She has sat on multiple committees in the past including Success By Six committee, has been President of the Williams Lake Rotary Club, has been the Chair of the Williams Lake Boys and Girls Club and continues to volunteer for various events. Christina’s hobbies include spending time with her daughter and husband, being in her rodeo mom era and accompanying her little barrel racer to all the rodeos, jumping her own horse, fly fishing and hunting. She is positive, driven and out-going and genuinely enjoys hearing the life stories of different people.
