I first became interested in the investment business when I was ten years old and was depositing a dividend cheque into my bank account that had come from shares I had inherited from my grandfather. It was proof positive to me that money can work for you when invested wisely, and it sparked my interest in investing.
I understand the importance of serving my clients' wealth management needs, starting with building a strong relationship by exploring their investment goals and objectives, and developing an investment portfolio appropriate for them.
I offer comprehensive investment services to my clients who include multi-generational families. With support from the Investment Strategy and Wealth Management groups at Raymond James, I can offer a wide range of services including education planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax planning, in addition to investment advice.
I joined Raymond James’ predecessor firm Goepel McDermid in 1998, after working in the Trust and Planning divisions at a large Canadian bank. I graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours BA, in Economics and Political Science, and have attained the Canadian Investment Manager designation and am a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
Community involvement and volunteering has always been important to me. As well as volunteering for many charitable initiatives, I have completed the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the Ride for Heart numerous times.
Toronto has always been my home. My husband Rob and I have three children – Duncan, Victoria, and Owen - in various stages of education. We are a skiing family and I also enjoy snow shoeing, road biking, and paddling and sailing in summer months.
