Born and raised in Montreal, Barbara moved to Toronto to start her 36 year career in the Investment Industry. Having attained her ‘Fellow of the Canadian Securites Institute’ designation in 1987, she applied her new skills in Institutional Derivatives and Equity Trading. Wanting a less stressful and more fulfilling lifestyle, she moved to Kingston in 1995 to take the next step in her career by working with individual clients. She is an avid advocate for animal rights and spent 3 years on the Board of the ‘Kingston Humane Society’. She currently sits as Vice-President on the Board of the ‘Spay Neuter Kingston Initiative’. She enjoys spending time with her cat, 2 dogs and husband Ken on their quiet rural property.
