A graduate from Simon Fraser University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Corporate Finance, John has over 18 years of experience in the financial industry. John believes continued education is essential to his profession. He has obtained his Certified Financial Planner’s designation (CFP), Registered Retirement Consultant designation (RRC), his Fellowship to the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB), and he is presently pursuing his Chartered Investment Manager designation (CIM).
John believes in giving back to the community. He is an avid cyclist and has combined his love of cycling with philanthropy by participating in a few Rides to Conquer Cancer with his two sons, benefitting the BC Cancer Foundation. He annually supports local families with Christmas Hampers of food, gifts and decorations.
John was born and raised in Kelowna, and continues to reside in the sunny Okanagan. When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with Kathryn, his wife of 34 years, his three adult children and their families. Being a ‘Nonno’ (Grandfather in Italian) has given him some of his most cherished experiences. John enjoys cycling, swimming, skiing and anything his grandchildren wish to do.
