With nearly three decades of experience in the financial industry, Francis has held various roles, including financial analyst in government, financial advisor at a major Canadian bank, and portfolio manager at another bank before joining Raymond James Ltd. He chose Raymond James for their shared values of conservatism, independence, and integrity, as well as their commitment to moderate risk-taking, innovative thinking, and prioritizing clients' interests.
Francis holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Waterloo, a business diploma from Red Deer College, and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designations. He has also worked in economic development with First Nations and completed courses in First Nations management and reconciliation.
Francis is actively involved in his community, regularly hosting charity events and fundraisers to combat child poverty, end hunger, and more.
In his downtime, Francis enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, and visiting museums to appreciate masterpieces.
