Adam Mitchell

Adam is committed to assisting Francis Cheng in building a better tomorrow for the clients of the 2050 Investment Advisory Group, their loved ones, and the community. He takes great pride in being a point of contact for all clients, focusing on both administrative tasks and maintaining unique relationships with each client. Adam’s favorite part of the job is getting to know the amazing clients he serves.

Growing up, Adam held various labor jobs such as landscaping, demolition, and construction. He used the knowledge and experience gained from these positions to start an irrigation business, which he ran for several years throughout college. Running a business instilled a strong work ethic in Adam and helped him understand his long-term goals. During college, Adam also worked at one of Canada’s top five banks in a customer service role, where he developed his customer service skills and built a solid foundation of knowledge in the financial industry. Adam completed his degree in Business Administration with a finance specialty and is thrilled to work at Raymond James Ltd., where he is working towards his goal of becoming a portfolio manager. He believes that working and learning alongside Francis Cheng is an ideal way to achieve his goals to help others invest for change.

In his downtime, you will often find Adam spending quality time with his loved ones. Being born and raised in the Okanagan does not stop him from constantly finding new places to explore, whether in nature while hiking or in town trying new restaurants. Fitness and sports are important parts of Adam’s life, and you can often find him enjoying workouts at a local gym or golfing at a local course. Adam loves to give back to the community and is particularly excited about the rewarding opportunities he and Francis participate in as a team, as well as volunteering and raising funds through the Raymond James Canada Foundation.
