Brad Clark

Brad Clark,

BA, CFP®, CIM® Wealth Advisor Cross-Border Specialist

With more than 25 years in the investment industry, Brad helps successful individuals, families, and business owners turn financial complexity into clear, confident decisions. His approach is thoughtful, thorough, and grounded in what each client needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and earned his Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation in 2009. He is also a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and a licensed insurance advisor specializing in life, accident, and critical illness solutions. As a U.S.-licensed advisor, Brad is well-positioned to support clients with cross-border financial lives, whether they're Americans relocating to Canada, Canadians with U.S. assets, or families with ties on both sides of the border.

Brad works closely with professionals, high-net-worth families, and business owners to build wealth strategies that go well beyond investment selection. His advice integrates financial planning, risk management, tax efficiency, and succession planning, giving clients a clear roadmap for both their personal and business futures. For business owners in particular, Brad takes the time to map out long-term goals, from growth through to eventual transition so nothing is left to chance.

Brad is also deeply committed to his community. He served on the Board of Directors for the Victoria Cool Aid Society from 2008 to 2016 and supported its annual golf tournament for several years. More recently, he contributed to the Victoria Foundation, serving on its Investment Committee from 2016 to 2025 and on its Board of Directors from 2020 to 2025 demonstrating his dedication to responsible stewardship and long-term community impact.

Outside of the office, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, traveling, and staying active through golf and hockey. He also values the quieter moments at home, grounding his belief that financial planning is ultimately about creating the freedom to focus on what matters most.

At the core of Brad’s work is a simple principle: behind every financial plan is a person, a family, or a business with goals that deserve thoughtful, long-term attention.

The most widely recognized financial planning designation in Canada and worldwide, the Certified Financial Planner® designation provides assurance to Canadians that the design of their financial future rests with a professional who will put their clients’ interests ahead of their own. CFP certification is considered the standard for the financial planning profession worldwide. CFP professionals have demonstrated the knowledge, skills, experience and ethics to examine their clients’ entire financial picture, at the highest level of complexity required of the profession, and work with their clients to build a financial plan so that they can Live Life Confidently™.

The Chartered Investment Manager® (CIM®) Designation builds the skills and experience we need to serve a more sophisticated financial client or institution. Financial professionals who hold the CIM® designation are eligible for registration as a Portfolio Manager in Canada. They have expertise in providing money management services to high-net-worth and institutional clients, and they understand the application of portfolio management in the context of Canadian markets and regulatory requirements.

What do these designations mean for you? They mean that when you work with an investment consultant who has taken the time to complete these designations, you’re working with someone who is well-versed in modern concepts of investment advice, is educated enough to understand how your individual investments are being managed and how they work together – no matter how complex it may be. These skills, along with a commitment to advanced education, enable them to provide you with the kind of service that you not only want, but deserve.
