Introducing Our New Associate, Justin Bishop

We are pleased to announce that Justin Bishop has joined Biscop Cross Border Investment Services, of Raymond James Ltd., as our new Business Development Associate.

Justin will be a vital addition to our team, having started on November 3, 2025, and will work closely with us to ensure we continue to provide you with the highest level of service and support.
Justin is my nephew and grew up here in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. As a teenager, he would mow lawns, paint decks, and do landscaping for our office while learning a thing or two about our business.
He then went on to earn his BBA at Acadia University and moved out west to work in the oil and gas industry for many years, where he learned discipline and developed a strong work ethic. During this time, he began reading about the financial world, how money works, and financial literacy in general.
He has also completed his IT – Programming diploma at NSCC and has experience in the “fintech” space as a software developer, building next-generation decentralized financial applications.
In his new role, Justin will work directly with Lee and I, and will be responsible for IT, marketing, and eventually, portfolio management, once he becomes securities-licensed.
He will also be working alongside our team members Lisa Muise in our Yarmouth office and Heather Bishop in our New Minas office to ensure your financial goals are met with our dedicated and personalized approach.
