Lee Scully,
CFA Associate Investment AdvisorLee Scully’s career in investment and wealth management grew from a lifelong passion for business, personal finance, and investing.
His entrepreneurial journey began at age 12, mowing lawns for neighbours in rural New Brunswick - a humble start that sparked a keen interest in how money works.
Soon after, Lee became an avid reader of Buffett, Graham, Lynch, and other legendary investors, laying the foundation for his future in finance.
Following his dream, Lee earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours (Finance major) from Acadia University in 2021 and went on to recently achieve the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation – one of the most respected credentials in global investment management.
He purchased his first stock at 20 years old and has been learning ever since through experience, education, and mentorship.
His professional background spans wealth management, asset management, private equity, equity research, startup capital management, and once upon a time, retail sales. These diverse experiences have shaped his ability to make intelligent capital decisions and, most importantly, build meaningful relationships and work well with people.
In 2024, Lee joined Biscop Cross Border Investment Services after searching for a firm that aligned with his values. A conversation with Stephen Bishop, a long-time contact from his Acadia University days, revealed a client-first approach that stood out in the industry – a model where Lee knew he could build a rewarding career for decades to come.
As both a student of finance and of life, Lee enjoys meeting people from all walks of life. Outside of work, you’ll likely find him on the golf course (usually in the woods or a sand trap), playing just about any sport, or relaxing near the water with a good book.
