Derek grew up in Abbotsford and relocated to Chilliwack in 2009 where he lives with his wife, 2 kids and Miniature Schnauzer. His past business experience in Telecom Management, Renovations & Finance helps him gain a deep understanding of issues that clients deal with, whether it concerns succession, retirement or estate planning.

Derek’s mission is to provide clients with the help and support they require as clients of Raymond James. His experience in finance allows him to work with Bote adhering to any client requests with speed and integrity.

Combining dedication, passion and a willingness to listen to each client, Derek is dedicated to assisting clients in meeting their financial needs. His core mission is to support, implement and strategize with the Destiny Wealth Management team to make sure clients are achieving their financial goals now and in the future.

Being a lifelong golfer and die-hard fan of the New England Patriots since 1996 should help bring a lot of discussion to the table upon meeting Derek for the first time whether it’s over the phone or in person at the office.
