Raymond James Supports the Island Prostate Centre’s Father’s Day Walk/Run

In June, Raymond James was proud to once again support the Island Prostate Centre’s Father’s Day Walk/Run. This important community event has been supported by our Victoria branch for many years, thanks in large part to the longstanding commitment of Raymond James Portfolio Manager Paul Siluch, a dedicated advocate for the event and its mission.

The family-friendly 3K and 5K walk/run brought together friends, families, colleagues, and community members from across Vancouver Island to raise awareness and support individuals and families affected by prostate cancer. This year’s event welcomed 213 participants and raised more than $66,000, with donations continuing to come in. Funds raised will help support the Island Prostate Centre’s essential programs and services, including patient education, peer support programs, and navigation services for men and their families across Vancouver Island.

"The Father's Day Walk is a meaningful opportunity to come together as a community while supporting individuals and families affected by prostate cancer," said Robin Granger, Branch Manager, Victoria Branch. "It's inspiring to see people of all ages participate, and we're proud to support an organization that provides valuable resources and care for individuals and families across Vancouver Island."

The success of the Father’s Day Walk/Run reflects the generosity and dedication of participants, volunteers, sponsors, and donors. Their collective efforts help ensure that individuals facing a prostate cancer diagnosis have access to the support, information, and resources they need throughout their journey.

At Raymond James, we are proud to support initiatives that strengthen the communities where we live and work. Through partnerships with organizations such as the Island Prostate Centre, we can help make a meaningful difference in the lives of Canadians and their families.
