Experience

Before joining Raymond James as a Financial Advisor and the Stony Plain Branch Manager, Kevin worked at another financial services firm for seven years, where he served as Investment Representative. Prior to joining the Financial Services industry, he held the position of Sales Manager with the leading window tinting firm in Edmonton for seven years.

Education

Kevin graduated from N.A.I.T. in 1985 with an Honours degree in Administrative Management. He completed his Professional Financial Planning Course with Honours in 2002. He obtained his Canadian Securities Course and holds a Level II Insurance license. A firm believer in continuing education, Kevin enhances his experience by attending numerous seminars related to personal growth and the Financial Services Industry.

Awards/Special Recognition

Kevin is very proud to have received an Award of Excellence from the Canadian Securities Institute for achieving a mark in the top 5% of graduates. He also received the Rutherford Scholarship, and a Molson Bursary while attending N.A.I.T.

Community Involvement

Kevin takes pride in community involvement. He recently served on the Board of Directors of the Stony Plain and District Chamber of Commerce for four years. He is also a long-term and major supporter of the local Kinsman Christmas Hamper Campaign.

Family/Hobbies

Originally from Falun, Alberta, Kevin currently resides on an acreage north of Stony Plain. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Linda, who is a local school bus driver for special needs children, and their daughter, Brittany. When he is not working with clients, Kevin enjoys gardening and classic cars.

Team Members

Helping Kevin run his office is the efficient and personable Jamie Picard. In her role as Office Administrator, Jamie helps clients with their day-to-day requests and questions. Always cheerful and willing to help, she is an excellent addition to the Stony Plain branch.
